The World Can Always Use More Art and Friendship

All artists, (that means students and professionals, painters and cartoonists, sculptors and illustrators, animators and  fine artists,  photographers and printmakers; EVERYONE who creates) this September 4th is World Art Drop Day. Wherever you find yourself that day, drop a piece of your art and tell someone where to find it. The world needs this right now. We need to feel a little more connection to each other and there's nothing like the bond two strangers can make through the act of creating and giving.  Jake Parker, founder, World Art Drop Day, www.mrjakeparker.com/art-drop-day

Want to play? The rules are simple:
  1. Make art and hide it someplace, along with the form that you may download from this page.
  2. Snap a photo of the art, the hiding spot, or both.
  3. Post the image on social media with the hashtag, #artdropday. Include your city’s name and a hint on its location.
  4. Follow World Art Drop Day activities online, using the hashtage #artdropday.

World Art Drop Day is brought to you in Kenosha and Racine, WI by Left of the Lake, LLC. www.leftofthelake.com/artdropday
